There can be many reasons like relocating, spelling, or pincode errors, which can lead to a requirement of change in address. You can do this using 3 methods:

Aadhaar Card Address Change Form

There are two ways to update your Aadhaar address: online or in person. If you prefer to update online, you'll find the Aadhaar Card Address Change Form on the myAadhaar portal. Otherwise, you can visit a registered centre and fill out a physical form to complete the update.

Steps to Change Aadhar Card Address Through UIDAI Website

The aadhar card address change online process is as below:

1. Visit the My Aadhaar Portal:

9. Pay the Fee (if applicable):

There might be a nominal fee (Rs. 50) associated with updating your Aadhaar address online. If applicable, you will be prompted to make the payment before proceeding.

10. Submit the Update Request:

Once you've reviewed all the information and uploaded the documents, submit the update request.

11. Track Update Status:

You will receive an Update Request Number (URN) or Service Request Number (SRN) for tracking the status of your address update. You can use this number to check the progress on the UIDAI website.

Steps to Change Aadhar Card Address Through mAadhar App

The mAadhaar app currently does not allow updating demographic details like name, date of birth, and mobile number. However, you can use it to initiate an address change by submitting a document for verification. Here's what you need to do:

1. Download and Install mAadhaar App:

Install the mAadhaar app on your phone from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

2. Register or Login:

Register with your Aadhaar number and registered mobile number. You'll receive an OTP for verification.

3. Access Update Address Option:

Once logged in, navigate to the section for updating your Aadhaar information. This might be labelled "Update Address" or "Update Demographics" (depending on the app version).

4. Enter New Address Details:

Steps to Change Aadhar Card Address Offline

1. Locate an Aadhaar Enrollment Center:

There are two ways to check the status of your Aadhar card address change:

Online:
