Yes Bank Mobile Banking

The YES Bank Mobile Banking app is called YES Mobile. It is available on Google Play and Apple App Store. It comes with exciting features and helps you bank on-the-go. Customers can access various banking services like account statement, fund transfers, bill payments, investments and more with this app.

The app also has adopted some new age technologies like fingerprint login, Augmented Reality & Smartwatch Banking.

Let us have a look at some of the features and benefits of this app 

Banking Services – Customers can carry our more than 100 banking transactions on the app. They can also link all their YES Bank relations under a single login. They can access their bank account, credit cards, Demat account, Bill Payment & Recharge and a host of non-financial transactions on the app.

Safety & Security – In order to ensure a safe and secure mobile banking experience, the app employs multiple security features:

  • The systems are encrypted and SSL secured to protect information flow between app and YES BANK
  • All financial transactions need to be authenticated with a 6- digit MPIN that is set up during the registration process.
  • Daily Transaction Limit on your financial transactions prevent any fraudulent usage of your money.
  • In case your phone is lost/ stolen, you can immediately call the Customer Care to disable the application.
  • The app does not store any sensitive account related information on your SIM or mobile phone.
  • Your login APIN is unique and known only to you.
  • All financial transactions require MPIN authentication.
  • The account gets locked if the wrong APIN is entered more than three times.

Smartwatch Banking: This allows customers to access select banking services from their Android/ Apple watch. You can do the following transactions from your smartwatch:

  • View Balance
  • View Last Five Financial Transactions
  • Bill Pay
  • Locate an ATM/Branch Near You

Other services: 

  • You can register for Retail NetBanking through the YES Mobile App. 
  • Set Fingerprint / 6- Digit APIN based login for better security.

How to register on YES Mobile App?

Download and install the YES Mobile app on your smartphone. Launch the app. 

  • Click on ‘Login’ and choose one of the below options to authenticate your details:
    • Retail NetBanking Login ID and Password Or
    • Customer ID, Debit Card Number and PIN Or
    • Credit Card Number, Expiry Date and Date of Birth Or
    • Customer Information – Customer ID, Date of Birth and PAN Card details (view only access)
  • Once you have authenticated your account details, an OTP will be sent to your mobile. Enter the OTP to complete the verification.
  • Once the verification step is complete, you will be given the option to set a 6-digit APIN (for YES Mobile app login) and MPIN (for authorizing transactions).
  • You can also set fingerprint authorization for quick, easy and safe login based on your mobile device model.
  • Re-login to the app using your newly created APIN or fingerprint authentication.

YES Bank SMS Banking

An SMS sent to a single number can help you carry out some basic banking services. YES Bank SMS Banking offers an extensive range of services at your fingertips. The advantage of SMS Banking is that; you don’t need a smartphone or internet connection to do it. You also don’t need any separate registration to use SMS Banking.

YES Bank USSD Banking

Customers without a smartphone or internet can also use the USSD Banking facility to carry out some basic banking transactions.

  • Customers have to dial *99*66# from their registered mobile number to initiate the USSD session
  • They are presented with a menu option. They have to choose their desired operation to perform.
  • Then enter last four digits of the account number to get response for non-financial transactions
  • You need to enter the last four digits of your account number and MPIN to process financial transactions
  • You can also use the following short codes for a quicker process.

YES Bank Missed Call Banking

Missed Call banking gives basic service of account balance and latest transaction statement for your bank account.

Customers have to register for Missed Call Banking by sending an SMS “YESREG Cust ID” from your registered mobile number to 9840909000.

  • Know your Account Balance by giving a missed call on 09223920000
  • Get a list of last 5 transactions by giving a missed call on 09223921111

Giving a missed call to the number will send an SMS with the requested details. 

If you have more than one account linked to a mobile number, you will receive the balance of all the accounts. However, last 5 transactions will be sent for the primary account only.

YES Bank Mobile Banking FAQs:

1. What is my YES Bank Customer ID? Where can I find it?

Your YES Bank Customer ID is mentioned on the Welcome Kit you received while opening your account. It can also be found on your Passbook.

2. How can I check my account balance through my phone?

You can check your account balance by giving a missed call to - 09223920000. The account balance details will be sent to your registered mobile number via an SMS. To get details about last 5 transactions, give missed call to the number- 09223921111.

3. Are there any charges for using YES MOBILE service?

No, there are no charges for using YES Mobile or for doing transactions through YES Mobile. However, Data/SMS usage charges may be applicable as per your service provider.

4. Is YES Mobile available for Non Resident Indian customers?

Yes. YES Mobile is available for Non Resident Indian customers. However, your mobile number needs to be registered with the bank for receiving the One Time Password (OTP) during authentication to enable registration on YES Mobile.

5. What all mobile operating systems are supported by YES Mobile?

YES Mobile is compatible with any mobile device having –

  • Android OS version 5.0 & above
  • iOS 9.0 and higher versions

6. Can I register on more than one mobile device?

Yes, YES Mobile can be registered on a maximum of up to 3 devices. If you register yourself on more than 3 devices, then the oldest device gets automatically deregistered.

7. If I re-install the app on my existing or a new phone, should I register again?

No, you do not need to re-register. You don’t even have to create a new APIN and MPIN if you re-install YES Mobile on your existing or new phone. You just have to follow the registration steps and then you can login and transact using your pre-existing APIN and MPIN.

8. How do I register for USSD or SMS Banking with YES Bank?

You do not need a separate registration for USSD or SMS Banking. The mobile number you are using should be linked to your bank account. That is all you need to access these services.
