1. Which card is best? Rupay or Visa?
This depends on what transaction you are using the card for. For domestic use, Rupay credit cards are the best option. Data is processed within the country and it takes lesser time. Whereas with Visa and Mastercards, the data is sent to servers outside India, and this increases the processing time. So, for domestic use, RuPay cards are a better option than Visa or Mastercard. However, Rupay credit cards do not have global acceptance. They are only accepted by domestic payment gateways. But with Visa credit cards, customers can make transactions domestically as well as internationally.
2. How does a Mastercard differ from Visa?
The difference between a Visa and Mastercard is very minor from the customer’s point of view. Both are secured and universally accepted payment methods. The only real difference between the two is in relation to the payment network on which the card works. In other words, a Mastercard cannot work on the Visa network while a Visa card cannot work on the Mastercard network.Other differences like fees, rewards, other benefits, and offers depend on the card variant.
