About Syndicate Bank Personal Loan Customer Care
One of the oldest and biggest commercial banks in India, Syndicate Bank has a long history spanning nearly a century. The bank commenced operations in 1925 at Udipi, a small industrial town in Karnataka. The bank was founded by Upendra Pai, T M A Pai and Vaman Kudva. At the time of its establishment, the bank was known as Canara Industrial and Banking Syndicate Limited. The bank was nationalised on 19th July 1969, along with 13 other major commercial banks. The interest rates range from 13.25% per annum and are dependent on several factors. The maximum tenure of the loan is 60 months, and the bank charges a processing fee of 0.5% of the loan amount.

Syndicate Bank follows a customer-first approach. The bank observes every 15th day of the month as “Customer Day.” On this day, customers are welcome to walk into any Syndicate Bank branch to resolve their complaints and to file their queries. If the 15th of a particular month is a bank holiday, the customer day is observed on the subsequent working day. Besides their branch, customers can also walk-in to any regional office or corporate head office on the 15th for the resolution of their queries.
