Your PNB Balance can be checked easily through the PNB balance check number - Missed called number and the toll-free number. PNB account holders can do a balance enquiry by giving a missed call from their registered mobile number to 0120-2303090. They will then receive the account balance through SMS. The missed call service is chargeable.
PNB account holders can also check their account balance by calling the toll-free number. If you give a missed call to the toll-free number, you will receive the account balance through SMS. A mini statement will also be sent to you. But the toll-free balance enquiry check can be done only if your mobile number is registered with the bank. It is free of charge.
There are also various other methods to check the PNB balance. We will discuss all the methods in detail.
The PNB balance can be checked by just giving a missed call to 1800 180 2223 (Toll-free number) or 0120-2303090. Keep the following points in mind when you do your PNB balance enquiry. They are:
Account holders can call the PNB balance check number or the toll-free number to know the account balance. They have to choose a language and go according to IVR instructions for using this method. The toll-free number can be dialed as 1-800-180-2222.
Before you use the netbanking facility of PNB to check the balance, you must register for the services. You can register for netbanking through the official website of PNB or by visiting any of the bank branches. Once registered, you can log in to the netbanking account using your username and password.
Step 1: After logging in, choose “Account Summary” from the dashboard or the menu at the top to do PNB Balance Enquiry by netbanking.

To do your PNB balance check through mobile banking, you have to download the ‘PNB ONE’ mobile app using your registered mobile number. PNB ONE can be downloaded and installed on Android or iOS devices to avail banking services like PNB balance enquiry, fund transfers, mini statements, chequebook requests and a lot more.
Here are the steps that you should follow to use PNB ONE for PNB balance check
Step 1: Download the PNB ONE app from the Play Store or App Store.
Step 2: Select 'New User' to initiate the registration process.
Step 3: Enter your account number and choose mobile banking or both mobile and internet banking
Step 4: Enter the OTP that you received in your mobile
Step 5: Register using your debit card or without a debit card
Step 6: Generate your login password and TPIN.
Step 7: if you have successfully registered, a success message will be displayed with the ‘User ID’
Step 8: Now, Sign in, enter your User ID, and set your MPIN
Step 9: Use these credentials to log into PNB ONE
Step 10: You can use this app not only for balance enquiry but also for making transactions and all other banking services.
Here are the other PNB mobile applications which can be used to check the balance.
PNB mPassbook is an e-Passbook facility for PNB account holders to check their account balance. It can be installed on both your Android and iOS devices. Account holders can see mini statements as well as elaborate statements. They can also save these statements on their mobile phones.
This app enables account holders to use SMS Banking, USSD Banking, or Missed Call Banking without using internet connectivity, 3G, or WiFi. This app is available for Android users only.
To check your PNB balance through SMS, you first have to register it with the bank and opt for SMS alerts. After registration, you can send an SMS to 5607040 in the specified format. The format differs with the type of enquiry. They are as follows:
Balance Enquiry: < BAL > < space > < 16-digit account number >
Mini Statement Enquiry: < MINSTMT > < space > < 16-digit account number >

PNB account holders can also go to the nearest ATM to verify their account balance instantly. Here are the steps to be followed for PNB Balance enquiry through ATM.
Step 1: Visit the nearest ATM.
Step 2: Insert or swipe the ATM card on the ATM machine.
Step 3: Enter the ATM PIN
Step 4: Choose the option that says ‘Balance Check’
Step 5: The ATM will then display the PNB account balance and a receipt with the account details will be generated.
PNB account holders can verify their account balance using an UPI app of their choice. Here are the steps for PNB Balance Check through UPI
Step 1: Download and install the UPI app of your choice on your smartphone
Step 2: Open the UPI app on your smartphone
Step 3: Input the security code to enter the UPI app.
Step 4: Choose the account for which the balance has to be checked
Step 5: Enter the UPI PIN
Step 6: You can now see the PNB account balance on the screen.
PNB savings account holders can check the account balance through WhatsApp also. This facility is free of charge. But the mobile number should have been registered. Add the number +91-9264092640 to the contact list and send ‘Hi’ to this number from the registered mobile number on Whatsapp. Account numbers related to the registered mobile number will be displayed.
