In order to enable your debit/ATM card for transactions, a PIN needs to be generated. Just like all other banks, PNB bank also requires you to set up a PIN after you receive your ATM card in the mail. This PIN is required to activate your card for online payments, cash withdrawals, POS transactions, and more.
The ATM PIN is also known as the Green PIN, which you can generate using multiple methods. In this guide, we will have a look at how you can do the PNB ATM PIN generation process using methods like online/internet banking, mobile banking, ATM visit, and customer care.
For New Debit Cards:

Your PIN will be set, and your card will be ready for transactions.

6. Set New PIN: Type in and decide on a 4-digit debit card PIN.

Your card will be ready to go after completing these steps.

2. Insert Card: Slide your PNB debit card into the ATM machine.
3. Choose PIN Option: Select "Create/Change PIN (GPIN)" followed by "OTP Generation/OTP Validation."
4. Enter OTP: Input the 6-digit OTP sent to your mobile.
5. Set New PIN: Create your desired 4-digit ATM PIN.

You'll see a confirmation message on the ATM screen once your card is activated.
1. Send a Message: Compose a text message with the words "DCPIN CARD NUMBER" and send it to 560740 from your registered PNB mobile number.
2. Receive OTP: The bank will send a 6-digit OTP to your mobile.
3. Go to ATM: Visit a PNB ATM.
4. Select Green PIN: Swipe your card and choose the "Green PIN" option.
5. Enter OTP: Input the 6-digit OTP you received.
6. Set New PIN: Choose and enter a 4-digit ATM PIN.

The bank will confirm the successful PIN change.
To generate a PNB ATM PIN via SMS, follow these steps:
1. Send an SMS in the format DCPIN (space)
2. A six-digit OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number, and it will be valid for 72 hours.
3. Use your 6-digit OTP to activate your PNB Debit Card via Internet Banking, PNB One App, ATM, or IVR.
Make sure your mobile number is registered with your bank account for this process to work.
