HSBC Bank Credit Card Reward Points

A credit card comes in for both positive – wow no need to carry cash – and negative – you tend to overspend. With the new HSBC credit card reward points program though, the negative is mitigated. HSBC brings you reward points under its Rewards Program and Extra Points program. You earn one point for every purchase worth INR 100 and you can redeem these points against a host of products across a number of websites, shops, and retail outlets.

How do I earn reward points under the HSBC Reward Points programme?

Just swipe your HSBC credit card every time you make a purchase – that’s how simple it is to earn credit card reward points. Once you have collected sufficient points to make you eligible for redemption you can use the points to make further purchases or to pay your credit card bills. HSBC offers two ways to earn reward points –

Regular Reward Points

These are points you earn simply by swiping your credit card. You can earn 1 point for every Rs. 100 you spend.

Extra Points

These are points you earn by spending at HSBC Extra Partner outlets. Though you still earn one point for every Rs. 100, when you add the extra points to your reward points, you get 150 reward points for every 100 extra points.
