  • First step is to open the application on the mobile phone and select the BHIM UPI option from  the available options under Menu
  • The customer will then be asked to submit the mobile number associated with the bank and validate the same by providing the OTP generated on such number.
  • After this the customer will have to submit the user name that he/she wishes to use as the freecharge UPI id.
  • Next step is to set a UPI PIN associated with the User id generate for Freecharge
  • The bank account of the user will be linked to the UPI Id of the customer.

The customer will then be able to send or receive payments via their Freecharge UPI id to anyone just like any normal transaction through a debit or credit card using the UPI PIN generated at the time of registration.

Offline PIN Feature

OTP

This is the most basic payment mode available in any similar payments application.
