Want to Set Your UPI PIN Without Debit Card? Here’s How!

The Unified Payments Interface (UPI) is revolutionizing the way people make digital payments in India. A debit card is usually required when setting up a UPI PIN. However, if you do not have a debit card, you can quickly set up your UPI PIN. Setting up your UPI PIN without a debit card is simple and ensures that you do not miss out on the advantages of digital payments. Accept the convenience of UPI and enjoy hassle-free transactions.

  • Download a UPI app like Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, or your bank’s UPI app from the app store.

  • Open the app and register using your mobile number linked to your bank account. Enter the OTP you receive for verification.

  • Choose your bank from the list provided in the app. The app will fetch your bank account details linked to your mobile number.

  • Instead of using a debit card, select the Aadhaar-based verification option to set your UPI PIN. You will receive the verification OTP to the mobile phone number registered on your Aadhaar. Make sure it's the same number you're using to set up your UPI account.

  • Create a new UPI PIN and confirm it by entering it again. Your UPI PIN is now set.

  • Once your UPI PIN is set, you can start using UPI for transactions like sending and receiving money, paying bills, and making online purchases.

Tips for a Smooth Experience:

  • Ensure the mobile number on both your bank account and Aadhaar are the same.

  • Keep your mobile phone handy to receive OTPs during the setup process.

  • Remember your UPI PIN and keep it confidential to ensure the security of your transactions.

By following these simple steps, you can create your UPI PIN without using a debit card and experience the convenience of digital payments. UPI is a quick, safe, and simple way to handle your money, making transactions smooth and efficient.
