There may be many reasons for which people want to close their Flipkart Pay later account like CIBIL™ score, changing to a different payment method, and inability to make monthly payments due to over shopping. While doing so, many people find it difficult to find the Flipkart Pay Later Deactivate option. This article gives the steps to permanently close your Flipkart Pay Later.
Procedure to Close Your Flipkart Pay Later Account Permanently
Step 1: Log into your Flipkart account by entering your email/phone number and your password.
Step 2: Go to the Flipkart Help Center. Check for a little icon in the upper right corner.
Step 3: Locate the ‘Chat’ or ‘Callback option’. Find the option “I want help with other issues”. Click on it and go to “others”, that is at the bottom of the catalog. Post this, click on “others” from the drop-down again.
Step 4: Upon making the callback request, you will get a call from a Flipkart customer representative within 5 to 10 minutes. Request the support team to suspend your Flipkart Pay Later IDFC Bank account permanently. The request must be made for a permanent account closure instead of a temporary suspension.
Step 5: After having the chat or call, the process for deactivating your Flipkart Pay Later account permanently begins and it will be complete over the next month. Soon, this closure will come down on your CIBIL report as "closed,” usually within the time duration of 2 to 3 months.
