Your mobile number is the most important piece of information linked to your HDFC Bank account. When you open an account with HDFC bank, you have to register your mobile number, and all the notifications like alerts, updates, etc. are sent to your mobile number by the bank. If you want to change your registered mobile number, you can do it in the following ways.
By Visiting An HDFC Bank ATM

Go to the nearest HDFC Bank ATM and insert your debit card
- Select the language of your choice
- Select other transactions -> Main Menu -> More options -> Update registered mobile number
- Enter the number that you want to register and confirm
- Re-enter the mobile number and click on confirm again.
- Now, key in your HDFC ATM PIN and proceed.
- Your request will be processed immediately.
Using Mobile Banking
You can also change your mobile number in your HDFC Bank account with the help of mobile banking. For this, you just have to go to profile settings and then choose the applicable criteria. Update the old registered mobile number with the new number.
Through Netbanking
Due to security reasons, you cannot update the mobile number through netbanking any more. However, you can download the request form for the same using netbanking. Follow these steps: Login to your netbanking account, go to
‘Update contact details’ and download the ‘Email ID update form’. Then, submit to the branch.
By Submitting the Application To The Branch
Download the request form for mobile number change and fill it up with the right information.Then, submit it to your HDFC home branch.
The application must be addressed to the bank officer concerned. The bank will receive your credentials, verify your documents, and update the new mobile number.
