Linking the RuPay Credit Card with UPI in Paytm is highly beneficial. You can earn more credit card rewards by making every payment with your UPI linked credit card. By using the RuPay credit card for all your UPI spends, you will carry a higher bank balance and earn higher monthly interest. You do not have to enter your CVV or wait for OTP SMSes. All you have to do is simply select your credit card and enter your UPI PIN. You can verify the total and available limit on the RuPay credit cards linked to your UPI. 

Steps to Link Your RuPay Credit Card With UPI on Paytm 

  1. Tap the top left corner of the Paytm’s home page
  2. Scroll to find “UPI & Payment settings”
  3. Then, you will find the choice that says “Link RuPay Credit card on Paytm UPI” in “Other Settings”
  4. Select your bank name 
  5. Eligible credit cards will appear automatically
  6. If you have not set a UPI PIN, you can create one by entering your credit card details. 
  7. Post this, tap on proceed
  8. Enter the 6 digit OTP you receive on your registered mobile number
  9. You can now set a 4/6 digit UPI PIN and begin making payments
