If you have not updated your Aadhaar card for the past 10 years, then follow the steps given below
Procedure To Update Your Aadhar Card
- Go to the official UIDAI Aadhar website.
- Select your preferred language for accessing the site.
- You will get an advertisement pop-up “Did you get your Aadhar Issued 10 years back, and never got it updated?” Click on the advertisement.
- You will be redirected to the myAadhar page of UIDAI.
- Click on “Login” at the top right of the page. For this, your mobile number must be linked with Aadhar.
- Key in your Aadhar number and the given captcha and click on Send OTP.
- Enter the mobile OTP sent and click on “Login”
- You can find “Update Demographic Status” in your Aadhar profile.
- You can upload the necessary supporting documents to change your address.
- You can also make other corrections like date of birth by uploading relevant supporting documents.
- You can also download the UIDAI mobile application from Google PlayStore and install it on your phone.
- You can follow the same steps as above to update your Aadhar.
- It should be noted that the mobile number can be updated only in offline mode by visiting the Aadhar enrolment center.
- You can also visit the nearest enrolment center and update your Aadhar by providing supporting documents.
