Bank of India offers some of the best credit cards in the industry. They have customized credit cards which cater to various people for their varied needs be it shopping, travel, restaurant as well as corporate cards. Bank of India cards have varying rewards and benefits for each card while some cards give amazing amount of cashback for various transactions while some cards give reward points which can be used later to redeem to get a great offer from Bank of India.
Bank of India also provides many modes to maintain and payment option of your credit card which the customer can choose according to their convenience.
The two main options are classified as online and offline mode of payment which are further classified into multiple features that a customer can use to pay off their credit card dues.
With the world going digital many people prefer paying their bills through online mediums. Bank of India has also understood this trend and setup multiple ways that a person can pay their credit card bills.
To utilize the Bank of India Net Banking facility, Bank of India’s savings and current account holders must register for this service. Only after registration, online payments can be done by customers. Customers can also link their Bank of India credit cards to Net Banking account, after logging into their Bank of India Net Banking account. The ATM pin needs to be used to link the Bank of India credit card to the Net Banking account.
Customers can access or view their Bank of India credit card information, credit card statements and unbilled transactions through the net banking facility for up to six months. All the Net Banking account will detail the billed/unbilled transactions, credit limit, due dates, reward points earned and outstanding dues. In case of loss or theft of credit cards customers can use the Hot listing facility available under the Net Banking facility to block you card and request for card replacements for which Bank of India will charge a fee of Rs. 100.
To pay your credit card dues log in to the net banking facility through the bank website and go into the credit card tab and select the “Credit Card Payment Option”. Pay your bills using your Bank of India savings account.
Bank of India credit card users can also use the Bank of India Mobile Banking application to make outstanding bill payments. Customers need to download the app on their mobiles and after installation use their customer ID to log into the app. It has all the features that are present in the Net banking portal. To pay of the credit card dues the user needs to go into the credit card tab and select the “Credit Card Payment Option”. With highly enhanced security for credit card accounts using 128-bit SSL protection a user can pay or transact for anything from anywhere accessing their savings account using the Mobile app.
Autopay:
If you are worried that you might forget to pay your credit card bills, which is a very big problem for people with multiple credit cards then as a Bank of India customer you can pay your outstanding credit card bills using the Autopay option to set standing instructions for auto debits on their Bank of India accounts.
The total monthly outstanding amount or the minimum amount due on the Bank of India credit card can be repaid using the Autopay facility. The Bank of India savings account should be held by a single customer or as a joint account, with an ‘either’ or 'any' signing mandate.
You do not necessarily open an Bank of India account to have an Bank of India credit card, you can also pay your credit card bill using a non-Bank of India account. There are several ways that a person with a Bank of India credit card can pay their credit card bills through online transactions using other bank accounts. This convenient way of paying your Bank of India credit card bill through other banks works for Bank of India as well as other banks.

You can pay your Bank of India credit card bill from any other bank account by using the NEFT facility. The instructions may vary slightly in different banks, but, in most cases you need to add your credit card number as the payee account number to make the payment through NEFT. Any payments made during the working hours on a weekday are credited on the same day while the payments made after working hours are credited on the next business day. To pay your bills use the IFSC code, to make NEFT payments towards your Bank of India credit cards.
For people who like to use their credit cards for large transactions, you can pay your credit card bills in one go using the RGTS mode even if they do not hold an Bank of India account. All you need to have is your net banking activated on your non-Bank of India account to carry out an RTGS transaction. Through RGTS, you can make payments for Rs. 2 lakhs and more. Any RTGS transactions are executed individually unlike NEFT which are processed in batches.
Non-Bank of India account holders can use the Bill Desk web page which is set up for Bank of India credit card holders. Fill out the required details which also includes the credit card number and payment amount. The customers are then directed to the Bank of India’s net banking portal to complete the credit card bill payment. The customers will receive an online transaction confirmation as well as a Transaction Reference Number after a successful transaction. If they have given their email id, they will also receive an email with all the transaction details. In case you don’t have a Bank of India account you can pay your credit card bills by logging into your bank’s online payment portal using your unique net banking id and password and transfer the due amount. The process is very simple and consists of many more options including NEFT and RTGS. The bill payment will take 2 working days to be credited to your Bank of India account.
There are many people who still consider paying their bills the traditional way. This could be due to two reasons – either they are not comfortable with the online methods or they don’t have access to the online payment modes. Either way they prefer to pay their bills offline. For such people Bank of India provides multiple ways by which any individual can pay their credit card dues.
You can pay your credit card bills by paying in cash at any one of the Bank of India branches nearest to you in your city. A processing fees of Rs. 100 per payment will be charged by the bank when you pay your credit card bill.
If you prefer to pay you’re your credit card bills using cheques then you can do so in the same way as you would pay your credit card bills by paying cash. You can also drop of the cheques mentioning your credit card number and other required details at Bank of India ATMs where there are drop boxes for this purpose. The payment will get cleared within 3 working days.
1. Can I make part payments towards credit card bill via the BOI online gateway?
Yes, customers can choose to make either part or full payments towards the credit card outstanding. The payment shall be credited within three working days from the payment date if it is completed successfully.
2. Do I have to pay any fee to use the NEFT or online gateway facility?
No, the online gateway facility for credit card bill payment is free of cost. In case of NEFT, no fee is levied from Bank of India’s side for bill payments if the NEFT transfer.
3. What should I do if I encounter a transaction failure but the amount has been debited already from my account?
If the amount has been debited from your account but has not been applied to the credit card account even after three working days, contact the bank with the transaction reference number. If the transaction is not reflected in Bank of India’s account, a reversal of transfer will be initiated. However, to avoid penalty, it is suggested that you make payment through alternate means before the end of due date.
4. Is my credit card bill payment transaction carried out securely?
Yes, every transaction is carried out with maximum security through SSL technology. The date is encrypted when it is sent across channels so that it can’t be viewed by unauthorized third party. Also, a transaction will be carried out only if your authorization details for Net Banking are correct.
