A new set of revised annual maintenance charges for SBI debit cards have come into effect from April 1, 2024, according to the State Bank of India's website. The annual maintenance charges have seen a revision of up to ₹75 for various categories like Yuva, Gold, Combo, and Platinum Debit Cards.

SBI Debit Card Withdrawal Charges 

ATM withdrawals using your SBI Debit Card are a primary function of owning a debit card. With a wide network of over 64,000 ATMs and ADWMs (Automated Deposit cum Withdrawal Machines) across India, SBI offers unparalleled convenience. These machines offer 24x7 cash withdrawals and deposits, both card-based and card-less. Additional services include mobile number updates, trust donations, cheque book requests, debit card limit modifications, and SBI credit card application requests. 

The RBI issued regulations on January 1, 2022, limiting the number of free ATM transactions each month. Banks can charge up to ₹21 each extra transaction, as per RBI norms. 

SBI ATMs and ADWMs offer free non-financial transactions; nevertheless, users of savings accounts are only permitted a certain number of free cash withdrawals per calendar month. 

  • Other Domestic Banks’ ATMs: 3 free transactions in 6 metro centres (Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bengaluru). 

  • Non-Metro Centres: 5 free transactions per calendar month
