This is because net-banking has made the complete payment process simple. Such transactions can be performed with ease anytime from any place in this globe.
  • Organized statements and transaction history: Keeping a track of the bank balance was difficult before the advent of netbanking. Customers had to go to the bank, stand in queues, and update the passbook and cheque details. But, with netbanking, it has become easy to track transactions. Fund transfers made via net-banking are organized in the ‘Transaction History’ section along with other details such as payee’s name, bank account number, the amount paid, the date and time of payment, and remarks.
  • Andhra Bank net banking provides a secure banking system: Your net-banking account as well as financial transactions are safeguarded with a log-in transaction password.

What Are The Disadvantages of Andhra Bank Net Banking?

The various disadvantages of Andhra Bank Net Banking are as follows:

  • Interrupted Services: Your access to accounts online will be impacted if your internet service is running slowly or is completely down for a duration of time. Similarly, if the bank’s servers are down or are temporarily unavailable due to scheduled maintenance, then you cannot gain online or mobile access to your banking information.
  • Limitations On Deposits: Daily or monthly deposit limitations may make it difficult for individuals and especially businesses to make huge investments online. Once you have reached the required limit, you will have to visit a branch to deposit money. Also, not all types of cheques can easily be read by computer scanning software.
  • Convenient But Not Always Fast: It may take a very little time to deposit a cheque via a bank mobile’s app, but you still have to wait to gain access to your money. Online banking is convenient and saves the time taken to travel or to wait in line at a branch’s location. But, all investments will be reviewed and funds are released for access according to the bank’s policy. This may take up to three business days based on the amount deposited.
  • Limited Scope of Services: Although you can do things, such as making deposits, checking balances, and paying bills from the comfort of your home, there are restrictions placed on the types of services you can access. You may be able to make an initial application for opening a new account or applying for a loan, but in most cases, you will need to visit a branch to sign forms and show documents corroborating your identity. Similarly, even though you can transfer money to a checking account or debit card in order to buy things, if you need cash, you will have to visit a branch office or a nearby ATM.
